Hotels near Auburn University Tigers Football

Believe it or not, we’re less than 80 days from the start of the upcoming Auburn University Tigers football season. While the Tigers don’t open their home schedule at Jordan-Hare Stadium until early September, we’re still incredibly excited about yet another highly-anticipated season of hard-nosed SEC action. Many of the NFL’s best players, especially on the defensive side of the ball, reign from the SEC. Auburn University consistently churns out pro-ready student-athletes that continue to wow Tiger fans from across the region, including recent stars Cam Newton, Dee Ford, Greg Robinson, Kerryon Johnson, and Jonathan Jones. Saturdays are sacred here at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center, one of the only luxury hotels near Auburn University. We gleefully share our love for Tigers football with our fans through an authentic, spirited hometown atmosphere, which effortlessly connects visiting fans from all corners of Alabama.

Luxury Hotels near Auburn University

From the moment you set foot on our luxurious Auburn hotel, you’ll feel connected to the team, community, and university. We (metaphorically) bleed orange and navy blue! Before and after participating in a wide variety of Tiger-inspired activities along the streets of Auburn, don’t forget to take full advantage of our lavish accommodations, world-class amenities, and on-site dining. As one of the only hotels near Auburn University, we’re continuously enhancing the fan experience through our affiliation with the university! Our returning guests have come to expect authentic southern hospitality and a “War Eagle” greeting upon arrival from our friendly, dedicated staff. Former Ohio State quarterback and beloved ESPN football analyst Kirk Herbstreit ranked The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center as one of the top five “best hotels” in college football.

Pre-Game Activities

Start game day with a delicious brunch (or breakfast) at Ariccia Cucina Italiana, our casual yet sophisticated on-site restaurant. Ariccia’s frittata and eggs benedict pair perfectly with a mimosa or Bloody Mary. Our legendary Bloody Mary Bar has been a hit among Tigers fans for over 30 years. This long-running game day tradition is a rite of passage for first-time visitors to Auburn. After a satisfying meal, participate in the parade-style “Tiger Walk,” a 60-year-old tradition where the fans greet and lead the Tigers on their way from campus to Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Tiger Walk rolls along Donahue Drive, which less than a mile from the most popular bars and hotels near Auburn University. If you’re planning on tailgating, here’s a list of potential spots.

Post-Game Activities

After watching the Tigers defeat a hated rival (such as Alabama, LSU, or Georgia) alongside 88,000 other screaming fans, head over to Toomer’s Square to roll the oaks with toilet paper. Rolling Toomer’s Corner has become a beloved tradition that has stood the test of time! After tossing a roll or two into the trees, retreat to The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center for dinner, cocktails, and a whole lot of team spirit at Piccolo, which is connected to Ariccia Cucina Italiana. We’re also within walking distance from a wide range of bars, restaurants, and things to do in Auburn, Alabama. We’re typically fully booked around game days, so please remember to give us a call at your earliest convenience at 1-800-228-2876.
