The Newly-Renovated “Red Barn”
Popular ceremony locations near The Hotel Auburn include the Halliday Carey Pick House, Samford Hall, and, of course, just outside the Edward L. Lowder Barn, aka the “Red Barn.” The Red Barn overlooks Ag Heritage Park’s serene pond, which mirrors its surroundings, including the park’s glowing lights after dark. After being shuttered for approximately four months, due to renovations, the Red Barn is once again open for business. It was already one of the most beloved wedding venues in Auburn, AL—now, it’s THE place to host a reception.
The barn received well-deserved additions, including gigantic bay windows overlooking the pond, a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, state-of-the-art lighting, and new flooring. This venture was a two-year cross-campus collaboration that leaned heavily on contributions from The Hotel at Auburn’s staff, including Managing Director Hans van der Reijden. We couldn’t think of a more romantic place to gather with friends and family after reciting your heartfelt vows.
